st: Updating Stata 11, getting r(608) at step 5. installing files

Hi Stata list,

I'm running " update all ", which kept telling me it "cannot write in directory...", so I changed the permissions on everything inside the Stata/ado/updates folder, and it finally ran. It got through steps 1-4, then stopped, i.e.

Ado-file update log
1.  verifying /Applications/Stata/ado/updates/ is writeable
2.  obtaining list of files to be updated
3.  downloading relevant files to temporary area
    downloading adoupdate.ado
    downloading arima_dr.ado
    ... etc to
4.  examining files
5.  installing files
r(608);

I know r(608) means there are files, folders or something marked as 'read-only' that I need to change, but which ones are they??

Anyone know?
