I am having a problem with running -adoupdate-. I hangs when trying to
contact certain websites - in particular Roger Newson's software,
formerly hosted at http://www.kcl-phs.org.uk/rogernewson/stata7.
AS I work at KCL, (and Roger has left us) I am fairly sure
that this server has now been taken down. Is there a way of
telling -adoupdate- to ignore specific websites, or even better to look for
certain software elsewhere?
