Hi all,
I am decomposing the wage gap between different groups of ethnic minorities using OAXACA in stata and I am interesting the proportion between the explained vs. unexplained in the wage gap.
In Jann(2008), he notes for a positive explained figure that the differences in endowments account for about half the wage gap. But I have negative values for the explained portion and positive values for the unexplained and a positive difference.
Can anyone help me with the interpretation?
