Yes, I know. It is probably a vicious circle: people who grew up on
SPSS and have no experience with other packages are simply skeptical
because of this very lack of knowledge which will not increase if they
don't get familiar with the other package(s). Since their knowledge is
limited they don't have much to rely on other than their tradition and
faith. The probably only thing to break this circle is to widen this
knowledge, so people can finally make the step from tradition to
reason ;)
