Dear Statalisters,

I would like to estimate an instrumental variable regression and my
endogenous variable to be instrumented is an ordinal variable.

Y=x1 + x2 + x3

X3 = z1 + z2

X3 is ordinal while Y is continuous

Does anyone have an idea of how to handle this. I have read about the ?cmp?
command in STATA, which allows for mixed dependent variables in a
multi-equation model but am not sure whether or not it would fit my suggested
model.
