Hi All,

I need your help in plotting this kind of data on line graphs. We collected and identified tick species from animal body regions. We visited various farms ten times per month for 2 years (var month = Jan - Dec, and var year = 2008 & 2009). We have identified 5 different tick species so each exists as a separate var (tick1 - tick5) of counts in the data set. I am trying to plot line graphs showing monthly and annual counts for each of the species but not familiar considering the repetition of entries (ten times) per month. In Excel, I can manually sum up all counts of tick1, for example, by month before transferring to Stata v.10 to plot my line graph, but the manual approach is time-consuming.

I would appreciate your help.

Aminu.
