Dear list members,

I would like to compute the minimum driving distance from some
buildings to the next neighboring municipality.
For the buildings I have longitude and latitude and could hence use it
with Ozimek and Miles' convenient -traveltime- command.
However, for the municipalities I have not individual points, but only
the municipality boundary lines as a shape file, which I cannot
directly use with -traveltime-.
If there were only a few cases, I would manually look up intercepts
between the boundaries and streets, but I have too many cases to do
this.
Would anyone have an idea how to tackle this?

Thanks so much and best regards,
JZ
