The -somersd- package (downloadable from SSC) produces confidence intervals and P-values for Kendall's tau-a (or alternatively for Somers' D). Using the -parmest- package (also downloadable from SSC), you can then make an output dataset (or resultsset) with one observation per estimated Kendall's tau-a parameter and data on parameter estimates, confidence intervals and P-values. These resultssets can then be concatenated, reformatted, reshaped or otherwise modified to produce output tables and/or plots to any format the user likes. The online documentation of -parmest- and -somersd- contains hypertext linking to documents (presentations and articles) describing the use of these packages in greater detail.

I hope this helps.

Best wishes

Roger

Dear Stata List,

Please does anybody know of a Stata command that I can use to produce
correlation output (Kendal and tetrachoric correlation) into a table.
I found one called mkcorr but it looks like that works mainly for
Pearson correlations. I will appreciate your help on this. Thank you
very much
