Don, did you transfer it into the correct subfolder under "ado"?  For
me (stata novice), the custom stuff needs to be put in the
"plus\[ALPHABET]" subfolder, for example, for esttab, i had to stick
it in c:\ado\plus\e.  Running stata12.
