I think you are really supposed to make this conversion at the R level, using the -write.dta- module of the R -foreign- library. There is also a -read.dta- module to read a Stata dataset into R.

I hope this helps.

Best wishes

Hi All,

Is there a simple way of importing data generated in R into Stata or do I
need Stat/Transfer?

Thanks!
