Dear Stata users,

Please I am trying to replicate multiplevel approach to meta-analysis as described in http://www.ats.ucla.edu/stat/MLwiN/examples/ma_hox/chapter8.htm using xtmixed.

xtmixed d  || study: || d:se, var

I am having problem in constraining se to 1. I will be glad if someone can guide me on how to do this using xtmixed or gllamm.
