Hi
I am trying to use fractional polynomials in a logistic regression.
e.g.
fracpoly, log compare: logistic survival myContinuousVar
When stata trys to fit model 9 (the first 2nd degree model), it seems to get stuck.
- running the command with trace on identifies the last step before it gets stuck as Mopt_maxmin()
- running the command in Stata 10 for Windows, it works fine.
Has anyone else experienced this problem?
Any ideas why this might be happening?
