Dear Statalists,

I am running translog cost and production frontiers. I am constrained
on how to impose symmetry restrictions on coeffients of interacting
variables (bij=bji)? For interacting XiXj, do you generarate a new
variable or enter them independently into the model like (Xi*Xj)?
However, the later is giving an error (time series operator are not
allowed). Anybody who know how to do this please?

STATA is fun
