Hello all,
Is there a facility in Stata to create heat / intensity maps using:
Either FIPS state and county code
Or latitude and longitude
--geocode-- is able to convert partial US addresses into latitude and longitude.
I haven't tried --hmap-- but it seems to use (x,y) rather than latitude and longitude for plotting.

PS: Outside Stata, Google has a not-so-friendly online tool ...
