Hello, I have a big panel dataset (with respect to event level) as shown
below.

country year v1 v2.......
AFG 1985 12 10
AFG 1985 15 51
AFG 1986 10 12
AFG 1986 15 82
AFG 1986 13 92
AFG 1987 16 12
AFG 1987 15 92
AFG 1988 13 52
AFG 2009 16 52

USA 1985 20 25
USA 1985 20 25
USA 1985 20 25
USA 1985 20 25
USA 1986 20 25
USA 1986 20 25
USA 1987 20 25
USA 1987 20 25
...
USA 2009 54 52
USA 2009 54 52.
USA 2009 54 52
USA 2009 54 52
USA 2009 54 52
USA 2009 54 52
......................................
I want to change the event level data to yearly by summing the each
variables over year like:

Country year v1 v2....
AFG 1985 27 61
AFG 1986 28 186
.....
USA 1985
USA 1986
...........................

Is there any way to do in stata?

With best regards,
