Hi,
 
I want to calculate standard deviation of gdp growth rate in a panel data. I have applied
 
egen stdev_gdpgr= sd(gdp_gr)
 
but i get one value in the entire column. I want standard deviation of gdp growth rate calculated for each country. 
 
What should I do?
