Thanks Mark and Maarten. Still not working though...
I cleaned up any multiple copies using the -which- -all-.
I -ssc uninstalled- then reinstalled all programs.
-ivreg29- still works but I get the same error message from -xtivreg2-
"Error - must have ivreg2/ivreg28/ivreg29 version 2.1.15 or greater installed"
Other ideas or files that -xtivreg2- might be interacting with?
