Laura,

Try using the -all- option of the -which- command, i.e.,

which xtivreg2, all

which ivreg29, all

which ivreg28, all

which ranktest, all

and see what comes back.  Sometimes problems arise when there are
multiple versions of programs lurking on the machine.
