Stata List,
We have 4 waves of data and want to age- and gender-standardize the 3 later waves to match the distribution in the first wave. We're doing that by regressing the variable of interest on age and gender, then replacing the values of age and gender with the mean values from the first wave, and using -predict- to calculate the standardized means (xb) and standard errors (stdp).
Now we want to test whether the mean at each wave is statistically different from the mean at each other wave for a total of 6 t-tests. We predict that the means increase, so a 1-tailed test is appropriate. We'd like to do a Bonferroni correction for the multiple tests. Can anyone suggest how to do this?
Thanks very much.
