Have you looked at Luc Anselin's SpaceStat, it's marketed by TerraSeer now?

Subject: st: spatwmat for panel data?

Dear all,

I want to do a spatial analysis using panel data of approximately 44,000
individuals, observed from 1989 to 2007.

Are there any spatial commands in Stata for panel data that I could use
for subsets?

And does anyone know which program could be used to analyse 44,000
individuals, as Stata's max matsize is 11,000 (e.g. geoscience software)?

I appreciate any supporting comment!

Cheers,
Natalie
