Perhaps an embedded | or <carriage return>; or an empty
row. Have you tried inspecting line 164,502 of the ASCII file?

Hi everybody,

I'm trying to import an huge dataset from an ASCII file using the insheet
command, but only the first 164502 lines are imported.

Here is the command line I typed, were are I am wrong?
insheet using "data 2008.txt", delimiter("|")

I have also tried with csv format
insheet using "data 2008.csv", delimiter("|")

Thanks
A
