My -nbercycles- program, which highlights quarterly or monthly timeseries data according to whether the National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER) determined that the US economy was in a recession, has been updated to include the current recession, which according to their Business Cycle Dating Committee started in December 2007 (2007Q4) and has not reached its trough yet (duh!)

You may access via -ssc- or use -adoupdate- if you already have -nbercycles- installed.
