I need help with generating new variables with imputed observations, or replacing empty observations with imputed observations after using the 'mi impute' command.

In the older versions of stata, it is possible to use the command
"impute depvar indepvars [if] [in] [weight] , generate(newvar1)"
This command generates a new variable and replaces the empty observations with imputed data.

STATA 11 allows different methods of imputation. However, is there any way to generate new variables for imputed variables that replaces the missing obs with imputed obs - after using the mi impute command?

Any help would be helpful!

Thanks.
Moses
