I don't know if I missed a post in this thread that answers my questions
but apparently -ds- is no longer an "official part of stata" and not
documented anymore. I followed the link to Nick Cox's earlier post and
the reference to P:macro, but did not understand, how any of these I
"should" use as an replacement for -ds-. I use -ds- to create variable
lists to loop over them. What is the solution that I am supposed to use?
By the way: I didn't know about these helpful options of -ds-.
