You can simply transpose it, of course: Just type "se'" in -mata-. But your
wish makes me wonder: What do you ultimately want to do with the standard
errors?

V[7..42,7..42] was what I went with...  If we're having a tutoring
session though, what I'd really like is to have is

sqrt(diagonal(V[7..42,7..42]))

without the row labels and the "box", ie., purely numeric (possibly
even a rowvector), but I figure I should do my homework before
bothering you very helpful people!
