-help probit postestimation- and -help logit postestimation- show you what
the syntax for -predict- is after the respective command, and there is no
presumption that the two must be identical. Sometimes a replication of these
commands via -glm- gives you access to expanded options for -predict-...

Betreff: st: predict, rs option for probit?

dear list,

sorry for this simple question: i get a "option rs not allowed" when i
use predict rstd, rs after a probit estimation.

however, this seems to work fine if i use a logit. is there any reason
for this and how do i get the std residuals for probit?

i tried to look it up in handbook and online but couldn't find a simple
answer.

thanks a lot and sorry for this rookie problem,

guo
