I am comparing the outputs of rotated factor patterns on stata and sas.
The interesting thing is, the pre-rotation factor patterns and
eigenvalues were identical between stata and sas.
BUT, after the varimax rotation, situation changed. The loadings are different.
Does anyone know what's going on?
Is that difference contributed to rounding?
Thanks.

Below are the codes and outputs.

For tha stata part

code:

     factor v1 v2 v3 v4 v5 v6 v7 v8 v9 v10 v11 v12 v13 v14, pcf factors(2)
     rotate, varimax
