Subject   st: Is there any way to specify initial values for xtmixed?

I'm trying to diagnose some problems that arise in fitting a model
with xtmixed. In doing so it would be quite useful (i.e save a lot of
time) to be able to restart xtmixed from the initial values from a
previous fit (usually an unconverged one using -emonly- with a limited
number of iterations).

There doesn't seem to be anything in the help about this. Am I to
assume it's impossible (short of getting into the .ado file and trying
to cobble something together that way)?

Thanks!

Glenn.
