Responding to Nick Cox.  No joke intended.  Anna Timberlake is (afaik)
Portuguese and that was the only connection I can grasp at to explain
the language switch.

Having closed Stata and Word, but not rebooted, I just pasted a
different output and the language stayed English(UK).
