st: cross classification xtmixed

dear list,


i have data for 1000 pictures (prices) nested in 30 artists over 25 
years, but not every artist sold pictures each year - so i need to 
specify a cross classified model, right?

is this syntax then correct?:

xtmixed price x1 x2 x3 || _all: R.year || artist:
