st: pasting character into graph text box

Dear Statalisters,
                          I'm using the do file editor to plot a graph
and want to include the correct symbol for >= in the legend. I tried
getting the symbol from the character map for the Arial font and tried
pasting it in the text box, but stata gave me an error
"Graph.legend.plotregion1.label[2].text.Arrpush invalid name option
epilog() not allowed".
Does anybody know of a way to do this?
