On what computer operating system, what text editor? If you are on a macintosh, get BBEdit o the free TextWrangler (barebones.com) and see: http://dataninja.wordpress.com/2008/09/27/unified-generic- commentuncomment-scripts/

The comments there are "// " but you can easily change it to "*"
