Dear Statalist,

A new package called 'strsrcs' can now be downloaded from the SSC archives (thanks to Kit Baum for putting it up). To describe and/or install just type:

        ssc describe strsrcs
        ssc install strsrcs

The package strsrcs fits flexible parametric relative survival models using restricted cubic splines and is an extension of the methods proposed for 'standard' survival analysis available using the stpm command. Models can be fitted on either the (log) cumulative hazard or the (log) cumulative odds scales.

See Nelson, C.P., Lambert, P.C. et al. (2007) Stat. Med. 26:5486-98

Comments, bug reports, etc. are most welcome.

Best wishes,
Chris Nelson
