Dear Herve,

the last version of -tabout- by Ian Watson that I could find was dated
1apr2007, which is earlier than Stata 10 rolled out in the summer of
2007. Hence tabout is probably still not aware of date-formats added
in Stata 10. Since variable fyr has type long, it is represented in
tabout's output with proper integer formatting. If tabout was flexible
to support all Stata-defined formats, it would be possible to control
the output with the format option. Currently tabout does not have this
possibility. If you attempt to specify any d-formats, it will complain
"Error in format. Only the letters c, m and p are allowed."
Tabout supports strings, so you can convert the date-formatted values
to strings and use that string variable instead of fyr. Or contact the
author with a request.

Best regards, Sergiy Radyakin
