When the book becomes available, will you post an announcement on Statalist?

You can be assured that the event will be well publicized, on Statalist and elsewhere. Currently StataPress is saying "summer 2008" for publication.

In an earlier posting today, Nick Cox said "I strongly recommend Kit's book for you when it appears."
As it happens, Nick has read the manuscript. Given Nick's own expertise in Stata programming, that is a strong recommendation indeed.
