you are completely right, it is right skewed. I will try it with - intcens-.
As this command needs a description of the distribution:
Do you know a way to choose the correct type of distribution?

Not necessarily. Biological variables subject to lower DLs are
frequently right skewed, sometimes a lot. I would suggest looking at the
program -intcens-, which you can download. This fits interval censored
models, which you can use to handle the DL issue.
