Dear all,

I was wandering if anyone has encountered similar problem, when unbalanced brackets cause -syntax- to duplicate options. This happens in both 9th and 10th versions.

It will be the easiest to show this by example:

program define test
syntax [, *]

display `"`options'"'
end

.test, opt1("(some text") opt2

opt1("(some text") opt2 opt2

-syntax- line can contain may more options but this happens all the time.

Any ideas what's wrong?

Thanks,
Zurab
