Hi Amanda,

The -from()- option may be of help here.
An example of its use with -frontier- is at
http://www.stata.com/statalist/archive/2003-05/msg00650.html

It seems that the -from()- option is undocumented because -help
xtmelogit- does not mention the option, although it can be used with the
-xtmelogit- command. The -from()- option is not mentioned in -help
frontier- either.

Best wishes, Garry

Does anyone have any idea what this error message means? Is there a
work-around?

Thanks,
