st: may really -by- be used with -prais- on Stata 9.2???

I was going to make a test before replying to Rodriguez' question on PCSE, when I found something not working properly:
by id: prais n w k
prais may not be combined with by
r(190);

I quote from the help: "by, rolling, statsby, and xi may be used with prais".
