Thanks much Austin. Hopefully the student's data will be nice and easy to work with! Or maybe she will get a new laptop for Christmas so she won't have to worry about how big the data set is. It would be nice if there was some sort of svysubset routine that could reliably make extracts, but maybe it isn't possible to come up with a program that would work right under all conditions.
