Leny Mathew <[email protected]> appears to be running an
out of date copy of Stata and has thus rediscovered two bugs
that were in the initial release of Stata 10 for Windows.
Both were fixed in prior updates.

If Leny will type -update all- and follow the instructions,
they will be fixed on his machine.

The first bug could cause variables to not get pasted into
the Command window properly. The second has to do with the
right-click context menu in the Command window.

Below are quotes from -help whatsnew-.

    14. When the user clicked in the Variables window, variables were
always pasted at the end of the text in the Command window. This
has been fixed so that variables will be pasted at the position of
         the cursor.

    15. Under certain circumstances, the right-click context menu for the
Command window did not have Cut, Copy, and Delete enabled when they
should have been. This has been fixed.
