#delimit functions as a translator directive (not to say compiler
directive, because Stata does not compile). In other languages
#include is often among the compiler directives. It exists in Stata,
but is written without #.

I know of a couple of #commands, as Stata documentation
refers to them (#delimit, #review), but can't find a
comprehensive list. Is there one? The Stata 10 documentation

archives, though I can't persuade the search engine to
notice the "#".
