Thomas B�ttner gave a presentation on this model (which is sometimes 
called a Markov model, or Markov transition model) at the third UK Stata 
User's Group Meeting: http://ideas.repec.org/p/boc/usug03/11.html. I 
don't think he ever got around to making his program publicly available. 
You could contact him directly; the contact details are on the site I 
just gave you.
