have you tried

-search mixed models- ?

Issueing this command within you Stata command window will yield
plenty of results including the following:

[XT]    xtmixed . . . . . . . . . . Multilevel mixed-effects linear regression
       (help xtmixed)

[XT]    xtreg .  Fixed-, between-, & random-effects, & pop.-ave. linear models
       (help xtreg)

I is always a good idea to try out -search- and -findit-. So here is
what is written on these two commands in Statalist's Frequently Asked
Questions (FAQ):
