Thanks. I'll need to "stick around" to fix the bugs 
in my programs. Roger Harbord, Fred Wolfe and Eric Zbinden
all found the same dopey bug. Thanks to them and in due
course to Kit Baum who will put the revised files for -groups-
up on SSC when he can.
