Does anyone know how to modify the ICD9 database supplied with Stata.
The ICD9 database has been updated to the latest version (V24) in the ado update released today (March 7, 2007). An -update ado- will get things fixed up.

One note: the new database has a hash mark (#) appended to the descriptions for codes which have become invalid at any time since the original V16 database.
