Thanks for your suggestion; works fine!
Two questions if I may. There are missing values in the date fields. I plan 
to use stcox.

. gen edate = mdy(dxmo, dxda, dxyr)
(667 missing values generated)

1. How can I locate & list those missing values?
2. How should I deal with those before -stset- and -stcox-?
