st: How to test for overdispersion in count dependent variable panel model?

Dear all,

I am using xtpoisson to estimate a count dependent variable panel data
model. I could not figure out how to test for overdispersion to see if
xtnbreg should be used. I found Scott Long's webpage that discuss about
count cross-section models, but not panel.
