st: Create submatrix from estimates

Hello,

I am using Stata 8.2 and I am having difficulties creating 2 submatrices 
from a mlogit equation estimates.

I want to define a separate matrix for each of the two outcomes (col names 
are "1:" and "2:").  For instance I defined:

matrix A = e(b)   ** where e(b) is a coefficients matrix of size [1,20]

But, I want  matrix A1 = the first 10 columns of e(b) and matrix A2 = the 
last 10 columns.    I tried subscriptions notations, but I keep getting 
errors.  I'd appreciate any assistance.
