Dear all,

I would like to announce that a general Stata program to calculate the QIC criterion for model selection in GEE analysis has been written. It covers all the distribution functions, all the link functions and all the correlation structures available in Stata. QIC is an extension to AIC in GEE.

Kit Baum has kindly uploaded this program onto SSC. Please feel free to try this program by -ssc whatsnew- and -ssc install qic-.

This is the first version of the program and hopefully there will be more update in the future.

Cheers

James.
